Some people call for change in areas which need to remain unaltered. Others call for things to remain the same in areas which are in desperate need for change. In the prayer of serenity, which is a prayer many believers turn to in a time of crisis, it reveals this principle of change in one respect. Overall, the most defining place to discover what needs to be changed and what needs to continue is in God’s Holy Bible. It is a timely book that has transcended the ages, withstood major scrutiny and continues to be the most compelling piece literature that man will ever encounter. The Bible is remarkable and within its pages lays an incredible set of instructions, teachings, disciplines, and admonitions which can propel a life into a new existence which few will ever grasp its benefit. We live in a culture which keeps many of us racing from one appointment to another. We have become so reactive that unless we many of us make a significant change to become proactive, we will remain a victim of our culture. Church attendance is one of the casualties of the time. When the church was initially established, the apostles and other believers fellowshipped together in personal study and prayer on a daily basis. Our prayer is that you won’t be trapped in the rat-race of our culture. If you are not currently in a church which teaches strictly from the Holy Scriptures, we urge you to get plugged in. If you don't currently have a church which teaches scriptural principles, we invite you to come and worship with us in study and prayer. Make the right change in your life and break the endless cycle. Get to know the living Lord through His Word and through His people! We dont need to get away from what God established.
